Welcome to e3

University Energy Management Bureau — Dublin, Ireland

Four Dublin-based colleges — Dublin Institute of Technology, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University and University College Dublin — are working together to reduce their energy consumption.

10% Target energy reduction over 3 years in 30 key buildings
€315,000 Projected annual cost savings at end of Year 3
3,230 t CO₂ emissions to be prevented annually

In order to achieve this goal they have formed an energy management bureau, called e3, and are implementing a comprehensive programme to reduce energy use. For more information on the programme, see About e3.

Live Building Monitoring

Each building's electricity and gas — both real-time and historical — is available on the internet for viewing by facilities staff, students and the general public. To access the monitoring systems, see the Building Monitoring page.
